With numerous acclamations and venue performances in such a short amount of time, Kal Hourd has caught the attention of many music industry professionals, and is creating quite a stir all throughout Canada and the United States.

He is the 2007 SCMA Rising Star Award winner, and has recently received a  nomination for 2008 SCMA Male Vocalist of the Year.
